There are women doing extraordinary things all over the world whose names most of us will never know.
Some are protecting endangered animals.
Some are caring for animals others have abandoned.
Some are defending ecosystems and wildlife.
Some are improving the lives of people in their communities.
Some are challenging injustice.
Some are creating solutions to problems that have been ignored.
They may work quietly, far from international media attention, without large audiences or widespread recognition.
Their impact does not become less extraordinary simply because fewer people know their names.
RAWW was created from a simple belief: women doing remarkable good deserve to be seen.
We want to find these women, listen to their stories and give them a platform that celebrates what they have achieved — while bringing greater attention to the work that still needs to be done.
